Anyone ever used Dipel for control of Caterpillars?

I have heard from a large scale organic producer that this product (I did a quick search and found a Yates version) is what he uses to control cabbage moths. Has anyone used this product before and if so can you fill us in with your experience? I found some forums posts elsewhere stating that i was apparently taken off the market a year or two ago due to a problem with the carrier agent but that has been solved.

"Bacillus thuringiensis is a bacterial organism which causes diseases in caterpillars. Once eaten by the caterpillars, it causes paralysis of the stomach and insects stop feeding and starve to death within two (2) days."
